Overview

Jack represents clients at both the state and federal levels, providing legal counsel, strategic advice, and government relations support on issues affecting their operations and long‑term goals. His practice spans government and regulatory affairs, general counsel services, economic development, construction and data center projects, contract procurement, communications strategy, political law, and ethics compliance. He also has experience preparing clients to testify before Congress, helping them refine messaging, anticipate committee inquiries, and engage effectively with federal lawmakers.

A core component of Jack’s practice is lobbying and government advocacy. He represents clients before executive and legislative bodies, advancing policy priorities, shaping legislation, and navigating complex political and regulatory environments. Jack works closely with clients to identify opportunities, manage risk, and communicate effectively with policymakers and government agencies.

Jack also advises companies, candidates, and political action committees (PACs) on campaign finance, ethics requirements, and compliance obligations. His approach aligns legal, policy, and strategic considerations to support growth, maintain compliance, and advance client initiatives.

As a strategic advisor, Jack helps clients address the legal, regulatory, policy, and communications challenges that influence both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term decision‑making. He takes a practical, solution‑oriented approach, working across disciplines to deliver outcomes that support organizational strategy.

Drawing on experience in lobbying, grassroots engagement, and regulatory compliance, Jack frequently represents clients in highly regulated industries—including healthcare, insurance, banking, education, energy, and manufacturing. His work includes developing legislative strategy, drafting legislation, and guiding initiatives through the legislative process from introduction to enactment.

Jack’s leadership and growing influence in Alabama’s political and public‑policy community earned him recognition on Yellowhammer Multimedia’s 2024 Who’s Next list, which highlights emerging leaders shaping government and public affairs in the state.

Before joining the firm, Jack served as Operations Director at SR Communications (now Cardinal Consulting Group), a full‑service communications and political consulting firm. He also worked on successful congressional campaigns in Alabama and Georgia, focusing on grassroots mobilization, policy research, and message development.

Jack earned a B.A. in Public Policy Leadership from the Trent Lott Leadership Institute at the University of Mississippi and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
