Overview
Chris is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Government Solutions Group. Chris provides legal and strategic advice to government contractors and other businesses on a wide range of transactional matters in the federal procurement arena. Chris focuses on setting up joint ventures, negotiating subcontracts and teaming agreements, managing SAM and SBA registrations and certifications, and advising on mergers, acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and other corporate transactions tailored specifically for government contractor clients. He assists with entity formation, compliance with FAR, DFARS, and SBA rules, and strategic planning to support contract awards and performance.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Chris practiced with a firm in Huntsville, Alabama; interned with the Honorable Beatrice Butchko in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Miami, Florida; and interned in the Madison County District Attorney’s Office.
Chris received his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law and holds his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama.
