Maynard Nexsen Strengthens M&A Team with Return of Experienced Attorneys
Maynard Nexsen is pleased to announce Steve McPheeters and Zac Goozée have returned to the firm as members of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate and Business Transactions and Private Equity & Venture Capital teams. Steve and Zac have spent the past four years with HighFive Healthcare, a specialty dental partnership organization and Maynard Nexsen client. Steve and Zac bring a unique perspective to the team and further strengthen the M&A team’s capabilities across healthcare and a variety of other industries.
Returning as a Shareholder, Steve served as Chief Legal Officer at HighFive Healthcare and has experience in a wide variety of M&A engagements, with an emphasis on healthcare-related transactions. He works with medical and dental groups, health systems/hospitals, durable medical equipment providers, prescription benefit managers, skilled nursing and behavioral health facilities, hospice care providers, healthcare IT companies and other healthcare-related ventures and their sponsors in both buy-side and sell-side M&A, including private equity platform and bolt-on transactions, strategic acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures and other combinations. Steve also has extensive M&A expertise in industries beyond healthcare.
Zac, Of Counsel, is also returning to Maynard Nexsen after serving as Vice President of Legal at HighFive Healthcare, where he supported the company’s growth through strategic acquisitions and operational enhancements.
