Zac Goozée

Zac serves as Of Counsel in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate & Business Transactions practice group. His experience spans both private practice and in‑house legal roles, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the operational and strategic needs of businesses across various industries.

Zac previously practiced at the Firm as an associate, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions and a wide range of complex corporate matters. He later joined HighFive Healthcare, a specialty dental partnership organization, where he served as Vice President of Legal. In that role, he helped drive the company’s growth through strategic acquisitions and advised leadership and operational teams on key regulatory, contractual, and transactional matters.

Now back in private practice, Zac draws on his in‑house experience to support clients across the full M&A lifecycle, emphasizing efficient deal execution and regulatory compliance.

Zac earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Virginia Law & Business Review. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Auburn University.
