Overview

Ben is a Corporate Associate with a practice focused on mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and other strategic initiatives for business entities.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Ben was in-house counsel, including serving as Corporate Counsel, for several software companies and their affiliated entities that spanned the globe. He has managed the legal affairs of a broad range of business operations, both domestic and international, involving maintenance of director and officer slates, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, security and privacy, debt refinancing, and high stakes mergers and acquisitions. He has experience with transaction negotiations and drafting, including with regard to purchase agreements and related employment, non-disclosure, data transfer, sales, vendor, customer, and procurement agreements and contracts.

With a background in Intellectual Property law, Ben also has experience providing legal support for company rebranding, obtaining domestic and international intellectual property protection for new patents and trademarks, filing federal copyright applications, and licensing agreements.

Ben holds a J.D., with a concentration in Business Law and Intellectual Property, from Northeastern University School of Law. He graduated from Tufts University with a B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science.
