VIDEO: Hamilton Barber Discusses Procuring the Proper Personal Protective Equipment

06.29.2020

Over the past several months, healthcare workers in the United States have provided care to hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 patients. To protect themselves from becoming infected, healthcare personnel must have safe and effective personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as PPE. Healthcare leaders looking to procure such PPE should consider these two questions.

  1. Has the FDA authorized or cleared the PPE for use by healthcare personnel in health care settings?
  2. Is the PPE appropriate and sufficient for the health care setting in which it will be used?

If you have any questions in regards to PPE, please contact Hamilton Barber.
