Overview

Valentina is an Associate in the Firm’s Complex & Commercial Litigation practice group. She manages all aspects of litigation and appellate matters in both federal and state courts. Valentina’s practice primarily focuses on complex commercial disputes involving matters related to breach of contract, breach of professional and fiduciary duties, and construction law.

In addition to her litigation practice, Valentina is deeply committed to pro bono work and maintains an active pro bono practice. In 2025, Valentina served as first chair in an immigration asylum matter proceeding involving a two‑day merits hearing and related pending appellate proceedings. In recognition of her efforts, she was formally honored by the Tahirih Justice Center with its Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award. 

Valentina earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was an active member of the Latinx & Caribbean Law Students Association and the Intellectual Property Law Society. She holds her A.B.J., cum laude, from the University of Georgia. 

Born in Medellin, Colombia, Valentina offers a diverse perspective when representing clients on various matters. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning French and Italian.
