Overview
Tim is a seasoned business attorney and a part of the Firm’s Private Markets practice group. His practice focuses on advising companies through the process of entering a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. Tim always seeks to educate himself on his client’s business and position within its specific industry to provide thoughtful, practical advice. His work is grounded in a business-oriented approach, helping companies achieve their strategic goals while effectively managing risk.
Tim has extensive experience serving as lead counsel on complex deals. Over a recent three-year period, he successfully managed more than 35 mergers and acquisitions totaling over $1.5 billion in enterprise value. Tim represents private equity firms and corporate clients in M&A, investment, and commercial transactions, with a strong emphasis on responsiveness and client-focused service.
Tim also brings valuable insight from his work outside the traditional law firm environment. He served as President, General Counsel, and Co-founder of MobileMotive, LLC, where he oversaw all operational and legal aspects of a startup offering extended warranties and protection plans for consumer electronics. Earlier in his career, Tim worked as an Information Technology Consultant with INBM Global Services, developing enterprise database applications for major clients including Sprint and PepsiCo.
Tim leverages his blend of legal and operational experience to allow him to deliver thoughtful, business-oriented legal counsel tailored to each client’s specific needs.
