Overview

Thy is a Partner in Maynard Nexsen’s Employment & Labor practice group. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, trade secret litigation, and wage and hour disputes.

Thy manages a nationwide practice and represents employers in various courts across the country, pursuing creative and robust defenses related to claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour violations and other statutory and common-law claims. She is especially skilled in courtroom advocacy, intrepid fact gathering, law and motion practice, which enables her to often resolve matters quickly and efficiently.

Thy has experience working with public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, health care, hospitality, higher education, and real estate. She also performs workplace investigations and provides day-to-day counseling advice to employers.

Before joining Maynard Nexsen, Thy was a Partner at a national, specialized labor and employment firm.

Thy holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and an LL.M. with merit honors in International Business Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Riverside.

When not at work, Thy enjoys sailing, yoga and indoor cycling. She loves animals and has a dog named Sir Rupert Woofington.
