Overview
Romina represents employers in a broad range of employment matters. Her practice focuses on complex wage and hour class actions and California Private Attorneys General Act ("PAGA") representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff employment disputes involving claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment. In addition to her experience resolving employment disputes through litigation, mediation, and arbitration, she also advises employers to ensure their employment policies and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
Prior to her current role, Romina practiced at a national law firm specializing in labor and employment, where she defended employers in single-plaintiff, class, and PAGA representative employment actions. Romina also previously practiced at a boutique plaintiff's employment law firm specializing in wage and hour class and representative PAGA actions. With her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation, Romina brings a strong understanding of employment law to every matter she handles.
Romina earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. During law school, Romina was a Dean's Merit Scholar and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mediation Theory and Practice. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
