Overview
Robert is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate section and a member of the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Tax practice groups.
Robert routinely assists clients on both the buy-side and sell-side of acquisitions across a variety of industries. He also provides general corporate governance advice for both individuals and businesses, including all aspects of entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, business restructuring, and strategic transactions.
Additionally, Robert utilizes his tax background to handle federal and state tax matters for business entities of all sizes. Robert advises businesses and their owners with their strategic tax planning decisions, questions about tax codes and regulations, and tax controversy matters.
Prior to joining Maynard, Robert served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark V. Holmes of the United States Tax Court. Robert earned his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
