Overview
Reid Edwards maintains a broad general and complex commercial litigation practice. Before joining Maynard Nexsen’s Construction and Complex & Commercial Litigation practice groups, he practiced as a litigator in Phoenix, Arizona, at a nationally ranked Am Law 200 firm. There, he represented clients in state and federal courts across a wide range of industries in matters involving contract disputes, partnership divorces, unfair business practices, violations of privacy rights, intellectual property, and real estate development. He also has experience representing clients in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitration and handling complex class action and appellate disputes.
After graduating from law school, Reid clerked for the Honorable John Lopez IV, the Vice Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. In that role, he gained hands-on experience in appellate litigation and developed a practical understanding of what judges look for in effective advocacy.
Reid earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the Showcase Team of the Notre Dame Moot Court Board and served as the Brief Writing Selection Chair on the Board’s Executive Committee. He received his B.S. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University.
