Overview

Paul is a transactional attorney with experience in commercial real estate development, real estate finance, business formation, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of Maynard Nexsen’s Real Estate Practice.

Representing real estate developers across Florida, Paul’s transactional experience includes negotiating commercial leases with the nation’s largest national retail, office, and restaurant tenants, and establishing structure necessary for cohesive mixed-use developments through declarations and other private land use and development agreements. Paul has worked regularly with institutional lenders to advise on the secured financing of commercial real property and is also experienced at establishing joint ventures in connection with real estate investments. His practice also includes working with clients to navigate the often difficult entitlement processes faced by developers.

Apart from his work with larger developers, Paul enjoys the opportunity to work with small new businesses, particularly in the areas of tenant representation in lease negotiations, as well as the formation of business entities or the purchase of existing businesses.

Paul holds a B.A. in philosophy from Hillsdale College. He received his J.D. from Barry University School of Law where he was the class valedictorian.
