Overview
Matt Reeves is a trial and appellate lawyer who represents businesses, individuals, and public entities in complex, high-stakes litigation. He tries cases, briefs and argues appeals, and shapes strategy at every stage of a dispute, whether at the outset or when risk escalates, bringing clarity, discipline, and renewed direction to complex matters. His practice centers on non-routine, “one-off” cases where the facts are demanding, the law is unsettled, and the consequences are significant.
Matt’s litigation practice includes complex commercial disputes and class actions, constitutional and government-facing matters, construction and real estate controversies, government contract protests and disputes, intellectual property litigation, and other bet-the-company cases. He advocates for clients before administrative tribunals, arbitrators, judges, and juries nationwide.
Matt also represents owners, developers, lenders, and public entities in real estate and construction matters from site control and entitlements through financing, contracting, and closeout. He provides strategic guidance and hands-on assistance from inception through execution, including economic development incentives, project finance, and land use and zoning compliance for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
