Marky Bingham

Marky focuses her practice on public finance and government procurement matters for clients, which include municipalities, government entities, schools and boards of education, and hospitals. Whether Maynard Nexsen’s public finance team serves as bond, disclosure, underwriter’s, bank, or borrower’s counsel, Marky assists and provides counsel through all phases of the transaction. She has particular knowledge in the area of regulatory compliance.

Marky also represents clients in the affordance housing sector, primarily the Alabama Housing Finance Authority. This practice includes general work with respect to allocation plans and program administration, lender's counsel with respect to home loans, and issuer's counsel with respect to a variety of multi-family bond issues.

In her government procurement practice, Marky assists clients in structuring alternative procurements and provides guidance for government clients and institutions of higher education regarding Alabama government procurement matters.

Marky also assists clients in drafting and reviewing construction and design contracts and provides advice during the design and construction phases.
