Overview

Keaton Teynor is an Associate in the Firm's Private Markets Practice Group, where he focuses on representing private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies. He advises private equity sponsors on leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, platform investments, and exit transactions, as well as providing strategic counsel to portfolio companies on growth initiatives and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Keaton served as a corporate associate at an international law firm in Washington, D.C. He also gained valuable experience working for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Keaton earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Toledo.
