Julia Gallagher Stewart

Julia Stewart is an Associate in the Firm’s Greenville office, where she concentrates her practice on employment and labor law.

Before joining the Firm, Julia clerked at a boutique eminent domain law firm in Austin, Texas, while completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas. After graduation, she worked as an immigration assistant at a global law firm in Houston, Texas.

While pursuing her J.D. at Wake Forest University School of Law, Julia worked as a legal intern for a global diversified industrial manufacturing company in Davidson, North Carolina, in addition to clerking at the Firm’s Greensboro office.

Julia complimented her studies at Wake Forest Law by serving as executive editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy, working as a teaching assistant for the legal writing program, where she assisted first-year law students with legal writing and research, and working as a research assistant conducting legal research for updates to the Third Restatement of Torts.

Outside Maynard Nexsen

Julia enjoys hiking with her dog, Josie, and exploring the outdoors. Although Julia danced ballet and tap in high school, she is now trying her hand at tennis but it is still very much a work in progress!
