Overview

As a seasoned real estate attorney, Jason has decades of experience serving businesses, individuals, and institutions throughout Florida. He has worked on a variety of real estate projects and closings, including development and land use, finance, sales, licensing, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, title insurance, and escrow and closing agent services. His current practice focuses on public and government law matters concerning real estate, land use, banking, environmental issues, corporate affairs, and higher education.

As a Winter Park native, Jason is committed to continuing to serve the communities he calls home. He is a highly engaged member of the real estate development community, having served on and chaired both the Municipal Planning Board and the Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Orlando, and has worked as the assistant attorney for several Central Florida towns and cities. He is presently the firm representative in the Association of Florida Community Developers (AFCD) and Florida Bankers Association (FBA).

Before joining Maynard Nexsen, he was a Shareholder at a Florida-based firm, where he represented landowners, developers, and individuals, guiding clients through complex transactions and disputes throughout the I-4 Corridor. His broad experience in real estate continues to inform his solutions-oriented approach to every matter he handles.
