Overview
Jackson is an Associate in the Firm’s Financial Services practice group. His practice focuses on complex litigation, including disputes involving structured finance, securitizations, and other complex financial transactions, as well as advising clients on litigation strategy and risk management. Jackson has experience representing a broad range of clients, including financial institutions, issuers, sponsors, and underwriters. He brings a detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to client service to every case he handles.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Jackson worked as an associate at a global law firm in its Washington, D.C. office. In that role, he represented numerous issuers and underwriters in various residential-mortgage-backed securitizations, asset-backed securitizations, and financing transactions.
Jackson earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law. He holds a B.A. from Furman University.
