Overview

Emily has wide-ranging experience representing corporate clients in complex litigation matters, including business torts, contractual disputes, real property claims, medical malpractice actions, healthcare regulatory issues, and financial services litigation. Emily has practiced in state and federal courts in South Carolina and Florida and has handled cases through trial, serving as second-chair counsel in both jury and non-jury trials.

Emily originally joined the firm as a summer associate during law school and upon graduation, as an associate. After moving to Florida, Emily worked for a large, international firm as a commercial litigation associate and has recently rejoined the firm on a part-time basis, working remotely from Florida.

Emily received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina, where she was Associate Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Law Review and was published in Volume 66. Emily earned her undergraduate degree from Wofford College in Business Economics.
