Overview
Christin is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Health Care Practice Group. She advises clients on a broad range of regulatory, compliance, and product development matters with a focus on U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation of medical devices, health technologies, and pharmaceutical products. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in both private practice and in-house roles at leading technology and life sciences companies, Christin brings a practical, business-minded approach to complex regulatory challenges—helping clients navigate FDA pathways, develop commercialization strategies, and manage legal risk in rapidly evolving and often ambiguous health care and technology regulatory landscapes.
Christin’s practice encompasses:
- FDA regulation of medical devices, software-based interventions, and digital health technologies
- Premarket regulatory strategy, including nontraditional and pilot pathways to market for drugs and medical devices
- Clinical study strategy and good clinical practices
- Regulation of clinical decision support (CDS) software, including regulatory classification, exemption analysis under the 21st Century Cures Act, and development of compliant product and commercialization strategies
- Healthcare marketing and advertising compliance
- Artificial intelligence and data privacy compliance
- Drug regulatory matters, including ANDA and 505(b)(2) strategies and Orange Book patent listing
- Postmarket compliance, including responses to and implementations related to enforcement actions such as Warning Letters, Untitled Letters, Complete Response Letters, recalls, and import detentions.
Prior to joining the Firm, Christin served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon, where she was embedded across Amazon Health Services—including Amazon Pharmacy, Amazon One Medical, and Amazon’s confidential moonshot vertical. In that role, she served as product counsel for a novel premarket device developed in-house, advising software engineering, hardware engineering, clinical, and business development teams on evolving FDA requirements and commercial strategy from early development through launch. Christin also advised on AI initiatives involving protected health information and identifiable health information, developing creative solutions for integrations between health AI agents and Amazon’s broader retail platforms. At Amazon, she supported the development and launch of Health AI, the largest real-world rollout of agentic AI in the regulated health care sector.
Given her years in-house and natural curiosity, Christin works quickly to understand core business objectives, and her advice is practical, implementable, and creative. Christin thrives on working across disciplines and connecting ideas to help clients achieve their goals.
She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law, where she served as a staff member for the Administrative Law Review. She graduated with her B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
