Overview

Carolyn is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate & Business Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups.

Her practice focuses on a wide range of matters in the corporate sphere, including entity formation and capitalization, restructuring, capital fundraising, employment and consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and exit-strategy planning. In addition, Carolyn advises public and private companies on complex mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Her experience encompasses all phases of the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction agreements, and coordination of the deal process.

Carolyn holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team and served as a summer judicial clerk for Chief Judge R. David Proctor of the Northern District of Alabama. She earned B.A.s in Political Science, International Studies, and History, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama.
