Overview

Briana Brandon is an Associate in the firm’s Myrtle Beach office, where she concentrates her practice on both real estate and health care matters. As a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Environmental practice group, Bri supports a range of clients as they navigate the increasingly complex real estate industry. Additionally, Bri works in the Firm’s Health Care practice group, where she is able to utilize her experiences in health care to assist a variety of clients. Prior to joining as an Associate, Bri worked as a Summer Associate in the Myrtle Beach office and collaborated with attorneys on high-profile real estate and economic development matters. During her final year of law school, Bri also worked as a Law Clerk in the Columbia office, where she worked primarily on health care matters.

Bri previously worked in multiple legal internships, including at Lexington Medical Center and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, where she gained significant knowledge and experience in healthcare law. During her time as a Summer Associate at a regional law firm, Bri focused on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, product liability, business litigation, and e-discovery issues. In addition, Bri interned for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.

Bri earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, cum laude, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. While earning her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, cum laude, Bri served as the Senior Student Works Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, Volume 73, and was active in the Student Bar Association. She also worked as a Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing tutor, and received CALI Awards in Health Care Finance and Juvenile Justice.
