Overview

For more than 25 years, Bo Russell has built a successful practice representing a diverse range of clients, including corporate entities, venture and growth stage companies, private equity funds, real estate development firms, industrial and manufacturing concerns, retail operating companies, long-term and hospice service operators, telecommunications and data center companies, and a variety of other privately-held businesses. Bo is a trusted advisor to his clients throughout all stages of their business life cycle – formation, debt and equity financing, organic and acquisitive growth, and, in many cases, a successful exit from the market. Over the years, he has represented many clients from the first stage of formation to the last stage of a successful sale of the business and all stages in between.  Bo educates himself on his client’s business and its position within the specific industry to provide thoughtful, practical advice, taking into consideration the effects on the client’s business. Bo also assists clients when a business separation is necessary due to irreconcilable differences among owners.

Bo has closed hundreds of mergers and acquisitions valued in the billions of dollars and is also a seasoned negotiator taking a solutions-based approach to his practice of law. He counsels clients on the formation (corporate and fund), governing documents, equity and debt financings, acquisitions, commercial agreements (such as vendor contracts, supply agreements, and license agreements), corporate governance, employment matters, litigation matters, and numerous other business issues.  Clients not only rely on him to handle their complex corporate business transactions, but they also rely on him as outside general counsel for strategic advice with respect to business issues and day-to-day operations. Bo works tirelessly to meet his client’s needs and his clients can feel confident that they have a true advocate looking out for their best interests.
