Overview

Baoyi is an Associate in the Firm’s Corporate & Business practice group. 

Her practice focuses on representing private and public companies across a wide range of industries in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, complex partnerships, private equity investments, and venture capital financings. She has experience advising both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions from $1 million to $250 million. She also advises businesses on corporate governance matters and drafts and negotiates commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Baoyi served as an Associate at a southeastern-based firm where she gained experience managing the full lifecycle of transactional signings and closings and handling high-value corporate transactions for clients. 

Baoyi earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she served as the Managing Editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. She holds her LL.B. from Sun Yat-sen University.
