Overview
As an Associate in the Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, Astrid brings a strong foundation of legal experience and a detail-oriented mindset.
Astrid previously served as a Term Law Clerk to the Honorable Ernest Gonzalez at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, where she conducted research on criminal and civil matters, prepared bench memoranda, and drafted judicial orders.
Prior to her clerkship, Astrid completed a postgraduate fellowship through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, during which she worked with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, and the Office of Congressman Joaquin Castro. As a postgraduate fellow, Astrid reviewed civil rights violation complaints and conducted legal research regarding Freedom of Religion, Bostock, Title VI, and Title IX.
Astrid received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, where she was the President of the Hispanic Law Student Association and a member of Law Review. She earned her B.A. from Tufts University.
