Alexia is a Shareholder in Maynard Nexsen’s Complex & Commercial Litigation practice group.

For three decades Alexia has served as a trusted advisor to her clients. With over 30 years of remarkable experience, Alexia has achieved exceptional outcomes for her clients. She has created an innovative practice serving clients in a wide range of disputes and as a long-time trusted advisor. Alexia's finance and insurance background adds a unique perspective to the resolution of complex matters.

A fervent advocate, Alexia harnesses her deep, analytical legal skills as she advises her clients. As lead counsel in an array of high-stakes cases, she navigates intricate disputes with precision and tenacity. She has a proven record of securing exigent relief in business and individual contexts. Alexia is a staunch advocate for vulnerable individuals exploited due to age, disability, gender, or the like.

Alexia has provided experienced counsel on governance, risk management, contracting, and other business matters to clients across diverse sectors, such as technology, real estate, construction, pharma, and non-profits. She empowers clients to navigate growth challenges with confidence. As outside general counsel to regional and national organizations, she protects, teaches, and motivates. Her experience includes having served many years as outside general counsel for a non-profit, international organization supporting senior law enforcement professionals.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Alexia was a Partner with a regional firm for two decades. 

Alexia holds a J.D., cum laude, from The Washington College of Law, American University. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance concentration, graduating Valedictorian in her class.

Outside Maynard Nexsen

Alexia is a former triathlete and duathlete - who twice competed in St. Anthony’s Olympic distance triathlon, including raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She loves spending time with her husband and children.
