Overview
Alex is an Associate in the firm’s Complex & Commercial Litigation practice group. She brings a detail-oriented, experience-driven strategic approach to every matter she handles. She has experience drafting appellate briefs, leading and defending depositions of parties and fact witnesses, and analyzing insurance coverage issues.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Alex worked as an associate at a Southeastern-based law firm, where her practice focused on commercial and business litigation, construction law, and insurance defense. In this role she second-chaired a week-long federal trial in a construction defect and breach of contract case and led appellate briefing and filings in the Eleventh Circuit.
Alex earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of Alabama’s Moot Court Board and the Senior Editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama.
