Alex Risman*

As an Associate in the Firm’s Credit & Restructuring group, Alex brings years of experience in real estate financing and state and local taxation. His practice focuses on due diligence review, loan document and commercial contract preparation and negotiation, title and survey review, real estate transaction closings, and state and local tax due diligence and consulting.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Alex was an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of a national law firm, where he represented lenders and developers in a variety of real estate transactions ranging from single property transactions to large multi-property portfolios.

Alex earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he contributed to the Kentucky Law Journal and was actively involved in the Tax Law Society and Trial Advocacy Board. He holds a B.S. from the University of Georgia.
