Veronica Macias Honored with GHBA Rising Star Award
Veronica Macias, an Associate in the Firm’s Atlanta office, received the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association’s Rising Star Award at the GHBA Cocktails Around Latin America gala. The recognition is presented to a young attorney who exemplifies excellence in legal practice, strong community involvement, and a deep commitment to GHBA.
At Maynard Nexsen, Veronica represents national and regional banks and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions, including syndicated and single-lender transactions, with a focus on asset-based loans.
Her professional and community involvement includes serving as Deputy President for Region VII (Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi) of the Hispanic National Bar Association, where she provides strategic guidance for the region; Co-Chair of the Georgia Latino Law Foundation Leadership Academy; and a volunteer and attorney mentor with the Georgia Latino Law Foundation.
