In Memoriam - John Skvarla, July 19, 2022
John Skvarla’s passing on July 19, 2022 left a hole in so many places. In his family, in our firm, and in North Carolina. His legacy extended far beyond his time at any one particular place—always the consummate gentleman with an eye towards connecting with people.
As Nexsen Pruet continues our remembrance of John and the impact he had, we, in partnership with NP Strategy produced a memorial tribute. This tribute was first shown at the NC Economic Development Fall Conference on October 4, 2022 as part of the group’s honoring of John for his contributions to the economic well-being of North Carolina. We thank those featured in the video for sharing their memories of John and know that they were each a cherished part of his life.
