Overview

Taylor is Of Counsel in Maynard Nexsen’s Complex & Commercial Litigation practice group.

Taylor is skilled in managing all aspects of complex commercial, environmental, product liability, toxic tort, real estate, insurance constitutional, civil rights, and employment litigation, including performing legal research; case management and strategy; conducting and defending fact; corporate and expert depositions; preparing witnesses for depositions and trial; drafting and responding to discovery, motions, briefs and pleadings; attending mediations; negotiating settlements; preparing for and conduct injunction hearings and bench and jury trials; developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients; retaining and working with experts; and legal research and analysis.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Taylor worked for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, where she defended and prosecuted a wide range of matters in state and federal courts on behalf of the State of Texas and was directly responsible for and independently managed all aspects of the complex litigation docket.

She has also served as in-house counsel for a large international semiconductor manufacturer, managing all aspects of its commercial litigation. While in private practice, she successfully represented companies around the country as regional and national counsel in a wide range of high-risk commercial, product liability, and toxic tort litigation. 

Immediately following law school, Taylor served as the briefing attorney to the Honorable Woodie Jones and David Puryear on the Third Court of Appeals.

Taylor holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. She earned her B.A. with Honors and Special Honors in Plan II from the University of Texas.
