Overview

Quay Wembley is a corporate transactional attorney who primarily concentrates his practice on private mergers and acquisitions for companies in both domestic and international cross-border transactions. As an attorney, he has fostered strong client relationships to assist a variety of clients in asset and stock purchase deals, corporate governance, and commercial contract drafting and negotiations. Additionally, Quay has experience providing counsel in labor and employment disputes.

Prior to joining the Firm, Quay was a Legal Intern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a Summer Associate with Lawyers Mutual. While earning his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, Quay was a recipient of the 2019 East Carolina Creed Award for Service and Leadership. During his time at North Carolina Central University School of Law, Quay was on the Dean’s List all three years and worked for two years as a tutor and teacher’s assistant for Legal Reasoning and Writing courses. He was also a published editor of his law school’s Environmental Law Review journal with the article, “The Evolving Balance of Environmental Justice and Economic Opportunity.”
