Overview

Kathryn Hampton is a certified project manager (PMP) and has over 20 years of experience in Economic Development, Financial Services (including Commercial Real Estate Development ), Technology, Media, and Communications, Public Sector, and Non-Profit Sectors. Prior to joining the firm, she was the Deputy Director of Economic Development for the City of Columbia, SC and she’s had the pleasure of serving under the leadership of the past three Mayors of Columbia. Before serving as the Deputy Director of Economic Development she spent four years as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) doing project management for international and national companies and eight years working with a private real-estate developer who has been a catalyst in redeveloping downtown Columbia. When Kathryn first began her career she worked at the City of Columbia in Finance, Mayor Robert Coble’s Office, and the Columbia Development Corporation a 501c3 subsidiary of the City that focused on Economic Development. Kathryn has a diverse range of skills including project management, economic development, business development, operations management, marketing, and consulting. When not working she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family and friends.
