Overview

Damien is an associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Insurance practice group. His practice focuses on representing clients in depositions, mediations, and hearings on various legal issues involving insurance, consumer protection, class action, and mass litigation.

An experienced litigator, Damien has experience drafting pleadings, discovery requests, dispositive motions, motions in limine, briefs, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements. He is skilled in analyzing claim files and document productions to evaluate plaintiffs’ claims related to first- and third-party insurance defense.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Damien served as an intern for the Department of Justice and as a legal intern for the Community Justice Project, where he supported a wide range of litigation matters.

Damien holds a J.D. from University of Miami School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Florida International University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
