Andy Watson and Frances King Quick hosted the August webinar, Employee Stock Ownership Plans or ESOPs. During the program Andy and Frances discussed how a program became a qualified retirement plan, using ESOP as strategy for succession planning and the Advantages and disadvantages of ESOP(s).

Andy Watson is a Shareholder with Maynard, and chair of the Government Contracting & Bid Protest Group and Co-Chair of the Government Solutions Group. Andy has an extensive background working with clients in transactional, financial, and regulatory matters. He regularly assists clients iin the defense, technology, and space industries in navigating the appropriate legal and regulatory regimes at the federal, state, and local levels.

Frances King Quick serves employers in the establishment and maintenance of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. Her practice includes the identification and resolution of fiduciary obligations to plan participants, correction of plan qualification issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code, updating plan documents to conform to legal requirements under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, submitting retirement plans and trusts to the Internal Revenue Service for approval and utilizing DOL correction programs for fiduciary breaches.
