Overview
As a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group, Matthew Stabler assists clients with corporate financings and M&A transactions. Matthew represents both public and private businesses, with significant experience with emerging companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew’s practice focused on financial and corporate transactions and commercial litigation. He regularly worked on mergers and acquisitions for companies ranging from biotech to construction and services-based companies. Matthew started his career in litigation in Columbia, South Carolina, which now provides him a unique perspective on corporate law.
Admitted to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Matthew earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review. He completed his ungraduated studies at Wofford College.
