Overview
Luis is an Associate in the Firm’s Private Markets and Real Estate practice groups. He represents lenders, real estate developers, owners, and investment sponsors on a range of matters. He has worked with clients on the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate assets nationwide. Luis combines practical insight with a strong analytical perspective to help clients navigate complex deals efficiently.
Luis has experience working on the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions, from drafting and negotiating letters of intent through closing and post-closing execution. He has also worked on numerous complex contractual matters, with an emphasis on purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, development agreements, loan documents, leases, assignments, and deeds.
Luis earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor for La Prensa Law Journal. He holds a B.S., cum laude, from the University of North Texas at Dallas.
