Overview
Isaiah is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and related intellectual property matters, such as licensing, technology transfer, and patent portfolio management.
Prior to joining Maynard, Isaiah worked as an Associate at a full-service IP firm in Silicon Valley. He drafted patent applications related to electrical and computer technologies, advised clients on what matters to prosecute or continue prosecuting (e.g., claim scope, pursuing continuations, obtaining patents in other jurisdictions), and drafted infringement and invalidity contentions.
Isaiah earned his J.D. and L.L.M. in Taxation, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and he holds a Bachelor’s, summa cum laude, and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the University of Alabama.
