Overview

Antigone concentrates her practice on real estate matters, with experience in bankruptcy law, construction law, and corporate governance. She is dedicated to working closely with clients and developing excellent relationships to best understand and serve client's needs.

While working as a Summer Associate at the Firm, Antigone provided professional legal support, produced contracts, maintained confidential documents and files, and drafted memoranda and motions, operating agreements, codes of business ethics and conduct, and directors’ notice documents. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Ted Kazakos, Forsyth County District Court, where she attended trials, conducted research and drafted judicial orders. 

Prior to her legal experience, Antigone worked as an operations manager for a restaurant, coordinating hiring and training and overseeing marketing, online reputation management, and the filing system. She also worked as a Property Manager, negotiating contracts, managing tenant agreements, and guiding property improvement initiatives. 

Antigone earned her B.A. from North Carolina State University. She earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.  

Outside Maynard Nexsen

Antigone enjoys traveling, reading true crime and mystery novels, portrait painting in oil, and baking French pastries.
